How you may be feeling before a Change Journey

Dont be shocked, you are definitely not alone. Many women, like you and me, hit our middle aged years (I’m talking 45 – 65) and suddenly think “what now?”.

Here's how it happens...

​

We start off our life with goals, directions and ideas. When we were young and asked the question “what do you want to be, when you grow up?” we were clear on what we wanted and what that would look like.

 

But then we grow up and we start to care about what others think and we start to see that society has expectations and standards that we have to follow, so we mould ourselves to fit.

 

We move with the crowd and become the person others wanted us to be. Other things start to take priority – friends, moving out of home, career and then potentially kids or elderly parents and as each stage of our live creates new challenges, we move further and further away from the person we thought we would be.

 

Not because we want to – in fact we are pretty unconscious that this is happening. Until one day something changes, an event, an awakening or even just a small spark of a thought that says “who am I and how did I get here?”

 

And it’s this moment that I encourage you to embrace. It’s this moment where you can choose to either continue living your life the way you are OR you can start to investigate what you truly want, and change things to suit.

 

In essence, at this point you are at a crossroad… continue down the path of least resistance or step into the unknown and start the journey to returning to the heart of who you really are.
